Algemene omschrijving

As a delivery controller / regional planner it is your goal to ensure adequate availability of service parts and service tools close to the customer in a timely and economic fashion. Meeting the uptime requirements at the customer.

The sector Global Logistics Services is among other things responsible for the installation, qualification, maintenance and continuous improvement of the systems at customer locations. The department Global Logistics Services Europe aims to deliver best-in-class customer satisfaction for customers located throughout Europe. The department Supply Logistics handles all material flow and optimizes the stock of service parts.

The Regional planner reports to the team-leader Supply Logistics Europe.

Plans and controls the regional storage (WW) of service parts and service tools on behalf of worldwide predicted usage, using historical data and an estimated demand of material. Supports the local organization in serving the customers in an adequate and efficient manner. Plans and implements approved changes in order to achieve a cost efficient transition to the new service-parts. Controls the levels of the regional service parts storage and ensures the necessary reports concerning storage figures. Manages the priorities of the local organization without jeopardizing global priorities.  Reports and escalates critical parts to Central planning and Parts definition & quality. Ensure timely return of parts for repair, warranty or analyses to the central organization.  Maintains the logistic parameters in a database and ensures the integrity of the figures.

Gestelde eisen

Master degree in Logistics or Technical Business Administration

Extensive knowledge/ experience of statistics, stochastic processes and effects on base-stock planning systems. Basic knowledge of financial flows.  Proven experience in a service logistics environment. S.A.P. knowledge is a pre.

Good communication and social skills required to deal with different cultures and various technical, commercial and legal departments. Customer dedicated and Service minded team worker. Excellent problem solving skills with a good analytical ability. Stress-tolerant.
